About Us
We are (as you can probably tell) the Gay-Straight Alliance in Lebanon. We came together, in March 2009, as a bunch of citizens concerned with the escalating level of hatred, violence, and ignorance towards homosexuality in Lebanon. We are not an organization, nor do we aspire to be so. We'd rather think of ourselves as a people's movement to spread love, peace, and understanding towards queerness in Lebanon.
We believe that sexual diversity is crucial to our Lebanese society, especially that we have been, for many years, consistently struggling with accepting all sorts of diversities.
